CDXL lamps for CHRISTIE digital cinema projectors available through Ushio Europe network
Christie, a global leader in the manufacture of visual solutions today announces an agreement with USHIO Europe for the sale and distribution of Christie’s CDXL D-Cinema Lamps through USHIO’s European distribution network.
Christie’s CDXL series of high-performance short-arc xenon lamps are a key component in Christie’s CP Series Digital Cinema projectors, for which they have been specifically designed. Their proven delivery of higher brightness and power-efficiency has helped to make the CP Series the leading D-Cinema projection series for the cinema industry.
Christie’s CDXL lamp had previously only been available from Christie and its network of cinema dealers. The agreement will provide the market access to another reliable source of supply through USHIO, one with a well-established operation for the stocking, purchasing and supply of lamp systems and the unparalleled knowledge of illumination systems that Ushio possesses.
